In 2015 we had the pleasure of once again collaborating with the San Francisco Symphony to produce a series of mini-documentaries focusing on stories of the symphony players, looking at their lives outside of Davies Hall.

Production ventured out to Spirit Rock with Cellist Barbara Bogatin, who connects practice with meditation. We spent time with Assistant Principal Cello Amos Yang and his delightfully musical family. Violinist Sarn Oliver took us rock climbing and showed us just a few of his (seemingly endless) creative outlets. And Principal Percussionist Jacob Nissly dragged his drum kit out to Treasure Island for the cameras and invited us into the Jazz scene at the Seven Mile House.

Hats off to them all. It’s been great to see the positive reaction on the Symphony’s Facebook page, and you can also check out the videos on their Youtube channel.
